If anyone wants a good example of a Cult of Elvis, read Clarke County,
Space by Allen Steele. Its got the Church of Modern Saints, complete
with an Elvis lookalike leader who's in it for the money, and goes
through "Dark Elvis" and "Good Elvis" periods. It also has a whacked out
German fanatic who threatens to blow up the station if Graceland isn't
given to the church.
