Re: [HoE] Even More confusion on Junkers
Just to add to the confusion that we know as Junkers ---
Do you feel that the Junkers invent items in a similar manner to the DL
Mad Scientists? (i.e. Mad Scientist wants to create a Gatling Shotgun ----
he comes up with a blueprint, makes the necessary rolls and draws, and low and
behold he can create Gatling Shotguns as needed <assuming of course the
Marshall lets him have access to the equipment neccessary to create more than
one --- and he makes the necessary rolls again. Junker decides he wants to
create an Automatic Hand-held morter thrower --- he comes up with a theory,
picks the powers that create the item, makes the necessary rolls and draws,
and low and behold he can create Hand-held mortor throwers as needed).
Or do you see each Junker item as basically unique -- while the theory and
the powers may be the same, they can't mass produce their items as they never
know what equipment they can scrounge to make the parts. I could easily see
that Junkers never have more than one of an item (although I'd never make that
a rule -- more of a guideline) On the other hand, if a Junker came up with a
really effective piece of equipment, I can see that they would try to scrabble
the pieces together to make another one, but at least in my game --- each one
of those would look a little different from each other.....
Did any of that make any sense or did I just ramble on with no real point at
all?
