[HoE] Relics

crafted Scottish broadsword there.  "That's a mighty fine blade ya' got
there, son, where'd you get it?"

Simon slowly pulled the blade from its scabbard and laid it reverently on
the bar.  "It's an old family heirloom.  My family name is MacDougal from
Scotland.  I can feel the power in the sword but I don't know what it
means."::

As part of creating my character (Simon) for the HoE game I wound up with
a Relic (Red) off of the Mysterious Past table on pg. 197.  I don't own
any of the other Deadlands books and I was wondering how Relics are
handled in the game mechanics.  Should I just use the rule on magic
weapons in "Belongin's" on pg. 51 or should this item be more along the
lines of a legendary item (it IS a Red Joker that garnered me the item
after all).
