[HoE] [HOE]Could Hucksters still exist?

While contemplating a crossover from the Weird West into the Wasted West
(one of my players runs a Mad Scientist called H.G. Wells, hmmmm....the
possibilities).
Anyways what would the effects be on a huckster travelling to the future.
The manitou fights would be a thing of the past so he/she would have to
find some other way. What are the rest of y'alls thoughts on this?
