Re: [HoE] help on archetype creation

Well,
One suggestion.....if you have any White Wolf Stuff (I know, I know
eeew) you should take a look at some of the alternate paths of Thaumaturgy. I
believe there is a path called cursing and such which has evil eye, and other
not so nice effects, and no that Thaum path doesn't make you use vulgarities
easier. It's an idea, esp since white wolf creates a whole book on them. I
would not suggest buying the gypsy book, but take a look at it in your local
gaming store to generate some ideas. Also on players becomming servitors;
that's a tough one. I've played many a campaign where the players are the bad
guys, especially that one night fomori campaign (the local mall was never the
same again). It's tough. In HOE though I tend to prefer the hero approach.
There is one DL campaign where one player became rather evil, yet he was not
mindless drivell evil. It was a subtle evil, and allowed to be played by the
player, until the marshal decided he was too evil ,from then on he is a
particularly effective NPC to constantly hound the PCs. It's especially rough
on them when a person their character worked with now attempts to stick them in
the back. If you do enter into a campaign with an "evil" intent it's best to
remember one thing, and that is evil fights among it self, considering it
promotes selfishness, and other such ideals. SO if you have evil characters
make sure not only are good guys trying to kill them, but so are evil people in
an attempt to gain their own power.
