Hmm... Yes.  Perhaps some sort of powerful weapon with a very powerful
Manitou imprisoned (?) within.  Makes you powerful, but has the nasty habit
of killing anyone you care about (even remotely).  Perhaps it even goes
back to the Reckoning...
