  Okay... Here's one of mine, the first (150 point) invention of a Junker
character of mine, in his own words...


  Spike's Needler
  ----------------------

  "M'name's Orley Pike, an' Ah've bin usin' this lil needler fer several years
now.  It's never let me down.  Ah guess people started callin' me "Spike"
cuzza how tall an' gangly Ah am, an cuzza th' fact thet m'last name's "Pike"
maht have somethin' t'do with it.  Course... it maht also have somethin' t'do
with th'fact thet Ah carry this seven-foot needle Ah found in an abandoned
tailor shop an' use it as a spear...
  "Oh. 
  "Raht.  
  "'Bout th' gun.  Ah figgered thet th' junkgun wuz jest too big, an so Ah
cobbled this'n t'gether.  It works lahk a junkgun, but it straps under
th'forearm of a fella, an' it kin mostly be concealed under a long-sleeved
coat.  Ah use an armored duster, m'self.  Now, th'needler uses clips thet
y'load in th'gun 'steada a hopper runnin' directly inta th'gun.  Y'use a
magnetic wand t'attract metal, an' then dump it inta a hip pouch thet acts as
th'hopper.  It shaves an' melts the pieces inta small metal shards which're
loaded inta a clip.  Y'load th'clip inta th'gun, pull th'trigger, an'
electromagnets pull th'shards out an blast th'crap outta the unfortunate
brainer on th'other enda th'barrel."
