[HoE] Power of the State (Shane)

	I have a small question to pose to Shane and all those that claim to be
Shane.........


	From what years in America's school systems have taught me, The greatest
question resolved by the Civil War ws if states could choose not to act as
loyal opposition in the government.  That is, the Civil War showed that when
the States joined the union, they were in for the long haul and could not
leave whenever they had a disagreement with the government.  However, if the
south ad one, the exact opposite would have been shown to each state that had
disagreements with the feds.  How do you explain that only the USA/CSA split
occured in the two's histories?  It would seem almost as though at least 3
divisions would have occured- North, South, and West because of their cultural
and economic dfferences.  Can you reval your vision of history in the
Deadlands world?  do any of these ideas make sense?
