Re: [HoE] Templar Bad Behavior?
I noticed on the Templar player's character sheet that he had taken
the Bloodthirsty Hinderance right away. There are certain "red flags" that
pop up as I go over a player's character sheet and the stuff like Vengeful,
Bloodthirsty, and Grim Servant O' Death always seem to stand out more than
others.
I don't really see a problem with a Templar being
Vengeful/Bloodthirsty. Granted, it makes it a lot easier to go down that
dark path however. Still, from what little we know about the Templars,
it's very easy to see that it is an organization of jerks, or at least
people with some very rigid ethics. If a player decides to play his
character in a way where "others just don't mess with my opponent; let all
beware," style, then more power to him but Marshals just really have to
watch out for the all-to-common Posse Pit-Fight.
I just had some problems trying to see this supposedly occasionally
heroic Templar run through a twelve year old captive Savage.
I'm looking very forward to the Templar book and just how hard it is
to become a Templar.
