Ghost Rock is evil souls trapped in coal but it said in Branburners that
Sykolite is alive, as in a crystaiod lifeform. Like Sykers and Doomsayers
(both alive) regenerate strain. From this I see Sykolite like a tree, living
and able to regenerate like other living things but posesing no
intelligence.

Actually I just looked at the picture of Skinnies and the cover of FoF and
the resemdalince is scary.

I was thinking that the Hoursemen didn't lure humand to Faraway to save or
dam the humans. They were interested in the Anouk but couldn't scare them or
get a good enough foot hold there. So enter the spooked humans and a gate to
Faraway from Earth. I think maybe the Unity got hit as it came through the
gate to Earth as the Hoursemen where on their way to Faraway.
An Interesting thought but I don't concur on all the facts with you.
