[HoE] Rattler Q

Could a Mojave Rattler move thru solid rock? like bedrock?

My posse's Ravenite Bounty Hunter is moving thru Monument Valley via
unhinched long nose semi.  The town he is heading towards is set up on
the butte of one of the rocky pillars so famous to the area.  I was
going to have a drove of Rattlers hunting the area, is it possible for
these creature to burst up thru one of those pillars? Think 5 stories
tall, quarter of a mile wide, if need be. Love to hear what you think,
and if you have a creative ideas concerning this. Thanks everyone.
