Re: [HoE] weapon durability

First, as far as I know HOE doesn't have any rules for
durability/reliability. I think Road Warriors may have introduced some,
but I don't think they apply to weapons. If you want to keep track of
it, fine by me, but I usually don't worry about it.

Second, 30/6 seems a little high for a rifle if you ask me. The rifle
may be very sturdy but you have to remember that if ANYTHING hits the
barrel, the rifle will be ruined. If the barrel gets bent or dented, you
either have to replace the entire barrel or chuck the whole rifle. Once
the barrel is damaged, firing it becomes extremely dangerous. Tell your
players that if you roll a truck, any rifle in the truck has a good
chance of getting bent, and make them roll a gunsmithing or
knowledge/shootin' roll to check and see if the guns made it through the
crash ok.

And afterwards, if you want to roll some extra dice whenever they use
the weapon to make them nervous, go ahead. =)
