Well, the Wall isn't so much a political boundary (according to the WW
companion) as a physical landmark, albeit a vey long one. You can't have
folks "fighting" over where it is. It was built prior to 2081, and is still
(mostly) standing, as I understand the situation.
It's not like they kept knocking it and down and rebuilding it, or the
Northern and Southern Alliances were fighting over its placement. It was
set, and doesn't shift.
Granted, I can put it anywhere I want. But part of playing in the HoE
universe is to have a _consistent_ universe. If I run a HoE event at a
convention, I'd like to make sure everyone is on the same page.
Particularly since apparently Pinnacle _intended_ it to have a set location
- they simply seem to have omitted it from the color map/insert in the WW
companion book.
