As someone more used to weird west (I have only 4 HoE books now) generally
I have found that unless a desc has something about nightvision in it, I
can assume the creature does not have it. I might be inclined to make
exceptions tho if the case were obvious (well this bugger lives in
underground cave pools but lacks the ability to see in the dark).
Unfortunately, unlike Harrowed, most monsters are not listed with Infrared
Vision vs. Nightvision vs. Darkness vision, a mechanic I really liked in
The Book o' The Dead but was not as well used elsewhere. depends upon the
author I suppose.
