[HoE] Lesser Sykers



Here's a new edge I'm putting on my webpage.  Any
input anyone has is welcome.



Arcane Background:Mind Wimp   2 pt Edge
     Not all the sykers in the Wasted West are the
unstoppable killing machines campfire stories make
them out to be.  Sometimes, a person is born with only
a tiny bit of Sykic power.  These folks were known as
"lesser sykics" by scientific types before the Big
Bang.  Nowadays, those in the know call them "Mind
Wimps."

     Mind Wimps are weak sykers. They can only use one
power specialty (Biokinesis, Psionics, Pyrokinesis,
Sykokinesis, Telekinesis), and can never have the
edges Adept, Fortitude, Greenie, Overkill, or Steel
Trap Mind.  Also, a mind wimp can never have a
Blastin' skill above 6.  However, mind wimps gain some
advantages as a result of these limitations.  Mind
Wimps get +2 to all Blastin' rolls when using, or
resisting, any power in their specialty. 
Additionally, a starting Mind Wimp knows a number of
powers equal to his Blastin' skill +1, and can learn a
new power in 2d6 hours. (1d6 hours with the help of a teacher.)
