[HoE] [HoE]Sykers, possible spoiler

Ok,

In brainburners, it says that Sykers only have specialties, cos thats
the way they think about their powers, as having distinct categories,
they alos shoot beams from their heads, cos thats where they think they
focus power, so thats where they do. 

This seems to imply that they channel powers in certain ways, only
because those are the ways they are taught work. So what would happen if
someone developed Syker powers without any of the usual preconceived
ideas about Sykers. No specialties, no bald head? Perhaps. What do you
think?
