I'd assume between two to three - I wouldn't give it a hard "it's x size".
Just fudge it there.

You know your posse better then we, so send the appropriate number of them
- and if there are too many for the boats (say, over 4 or 5), send one or
two extra boats.

Well, yeah, the Lector can Nuke it...but he can't guarantee a hit on it.
And what happens when the Bloats sneak up behind him as he's concentrating
on it...

They're not too bad.  Perhaps if you have him seen as a hero right away,
saving a kid from drowning or something, they'll be more likely to take him
in.

They're about to be found, though, like it or not - so I'd say no.  Wait
until they get themselves lost again...
