Harrowed are bad enough in Deadlands, never mind in HoE.
I'm always tempted to bump up the manitou's Spirit by a die
type when making them...

My last post on the huckster topic - Junkers, Templars,
Sykers and Doomsayers all get a HoE book because they're
major AB's in the setting. Hucksters get a couple of
inches of column space in TJC. Even the dimmest player has
to realise that there's something wrong there...

I'm going to stick with TJC rules for now and see how they
play out. In previous experience, backlash hasn't happened
too often in the games I've marshalled/played in. It might
be the playing style of those involved, or it migth be luck
of the draw. Who knows? The thing is, I'm going to see
how it goes. If every huckster in a HoE game turns himself
and his companions into chutney by accident every couple of
sessions, I'll see about rules mods. Some of it may depend
on the revised huckstering rules, though. I'm going to see
hat happens. Should be interesting, mind. The Posse I'm
playing in at the minute is about due a return trip to HoE
(they already ended up there one...). I'll see what
happens to my huckster there. Of course, I might start
drawing cards now in anticipatin of the worst happening...
