[HoE] LOST COLONY [SPOILER ALERT!!!] LOST COLONY [MAJOR SPOILERS - DO NOT READ]

Well, we know that HoE a possible future for Deadlands, right?  Well, I
conted that Lost Colony is again, a possilbe future of Hell on Earth.  

I mean, just think about it...  Ghost rock showed up there, as it did on
Earth, true, but we do not know the true extent of the Horesemen's power,
as of yet.  It could be that they have the ability to affect other worlds,
other than Earth, but I doubt it.  My idea comes from this:  Hellstrom was
a servitor of the Reckoners, and was granted incredible genious and power.
There is a debate right now in this list as to if time travel is possible
in HoE, and I have but to say, "Hellstrom did it."  

See, his portal he opened in space was not a gateway to another world, but
a gateway to our own, in a time far off.  A time when the radiation that
plauges HoE has died down, and the Malestroms have gone the way of the
dinosaur.  Either that, or the entire world is trapped within a malestrom,
which would explain the tremendous winds that earned the world its name of
"Banshee...."  I contend that the "whites" of this world have left it
entirely, and the only thing left behinde are the "savages."  In that, I
mean the indians and the mutants.  The indians themselves have been mutated
into a purplish, wrinkled form of their old selves, along with a few others
I shall mention momentairily.  

Also, I know I'm not going to mention all the things that have givem my
posse and myself this idea, because I do not remember them all, but just
bear in mind my theory, while reading any of the various HoE books.

Skinnies:  The Skinnies are either long lived, mutated, undead Sykers,
which I doubt, or Shamatic sykers who have ritualistically mutated their
bodies in such a way to appear completely different from their unaugmented
brethren.  Their is something different about them, though, thus explaining
their greater than your average syker abilities.  And no, I do not mean the
banshe stones, though I've something to say about that as well.

Raven:  The Banshee stones are said to have an almost organic quality to
them; that they are alive, in some way.  I've an explanation for that, as
well.  Simply put:  Raven.  During his hundred year imprisonment, Raven's
vile life force, energy, fluids, blood, or whatever permiated the stone he
was bound to in such a way, as it took on a life of its own, eventually
earning the name "Blood stone."  When he was freed, he promptly blasted the
thing into a million pieces.  If you've ever smashed a rock, you know that
no two fragments are identical, and this is the case with the Blood
stones/Banshee Stones as well.  

Grapes:  It is uncertain, and un-discussed, but I wonder if the Anouks have
anything to do with the Alien-Human hybrids living under the Devil's Tower?
 Perhaps they do....  Perhaps these hybrid creatures were eventually
adopted into the various tribes of the Old wayers, and through natural
selection, their descendants came to be called the Anouks of Lost Colony?
It's ponderson, if anything.  Perhaps they are the skinnies?  And Perhaps
they rebuilt the blasted out Devil's tower into the Castle Rock of Banshee.
 I think that is the right name...  If it is not, I mean the site of the
major battle between the various Syker squads, especially the Wendigos, and
the Anouk Skinnies.   Hmm...  Interesting.....

The Return:  Hellstrom successfully opened the portal to this
futuristic/alternate Earth, and when the Sykers came back after the finalle
of the Last War, it closed on our end.  But, the Lost Colony end has
remained open, and "something else has come through."  I haven't read
anything that leads me to believe one thing or another about this, but I
have come up with several ideas.  One being that Banshee is the absolution
of Raven's plan to force the white men back over the ocean.  He succeeded,
but not in driving them back over the Atlantic, but in driving them
Off-World as well.  These strange things comming through the portal are the
whites returning to Earth, centuries after their banishment from Banshee.
heh....

I like the idea of this being the absolution of The Last Son's designs...
That leads me to another postulation about the Return... Perhaps the portal
wasn't a portal in time, but a rift in reality...  Perhaps the Anouk world
of Banshee is if things went entirely Raven's way, and Hell on Earth is
what we think would be the natural evolution of the Deadlands dealings with
the Indians, and those of the Return are the citizenry of the "All White"
reality comming to Banshee to do a little Ethinic Cleansing.  That sounds
good to me.  Three Realities.  The Grape, Grey, and White.   Grey, as in
Neutral, I mean.  Neither side of the Technology vs. Spirituality war has
yet to win.  Who knows?  





Now that I think about it, I'm going to post all this to the list, instead
of Mass-Mailing it to those that said they were interested.  I apoligize
for my earlier post, but I am fairly new to this list, and new to Mailing
lists all together, and I didn't know what the <SPOILERS> Thing was all
about.  Looks like I'm going to take Pat Phalen's Advice after all.  Sorry

skunian@insuranceholdings.com for your wasted effort in responding to my
post.  Not really sure if my mail would of gone through to the Insurance
holdings place anywho....

Come to think of it, if I'm right, maybe Pinnacle will give me a prize or
something!  Maybe a Job?  (o;  Truthfully, I'd really like to have my name
printed in the Lost Colony Rule Book or something.  I can just see it
now...  Jason Forster, the guy who spoiled it for everyone!  MU HU HU HA HA!!!

Fear trilogy, though maybe I should.....
