Re: [HoE] Something About a Sword (potential Spoiler seperated from maintext)
Dula,
When I read that book I felt the overwhelming compulsion to tear it in half and
make a donation to my waste basket. I really don't get the entire situation
concerning the Templar. It sounds somewhat possible for him to set up shop in
a near by neighborhood for a short period of time (maybe two to three months)
but nothing like the adventure dictates.

As far as the Church goes, I feel that Mr. Ritter would have to be one holy son
of a gun to lay down the holy housing project he has. Something... was really
a disappointment in the history of HoE books. Its salvageable if you tweak the
story line a bit but it lacks the ability to be anything more than a tame hack
and slash. I apologize for ranting about the quality, I get nightmares when I
think of the typing errors in that book.
As far as the "Blessed worthless in the eyes of any faithful soul" query, I
would just exalt a shudder of disgust at "Something's" poor game research and
concept. Don't consider your Blessed as being bunk because of 48 pages of pure
Pinnacle publishing mistake.
Good luck with your game and sorry about your purchase.
