[HoE] Speed Demons - spoiler!

I've just had my campaign introduce the Speed Demons road gang (from the
sourcebook). The character was captured and found out what Devon was planning
for her, but she managed to escape while he was fixing her intended ride up.
The character saw the misery of the drivers, a fate she was almost dealt
herself, and decided to help them. She has a plan to ride to Junkyard and see if
any junkers can tell her how to restore the drivers souls, which they are
timesharing with the cars and their malicious AI.

I was wondering if you had any ideas on what the junkers would suggest, as the
the player's just thrown me this out of the blue. Any suggestions would be
appreciated.
