    While hardly official, I personally would allow a living cyborg to have a 
spirit fetter.  Then all one would have to do is decide if it allows the 
living cyborg to channel spirit energy, or if it sits there latent until the 
cyborg dies, in which case they will immediately rise as an undead cyborg 
(presuming of course that the spirit fetter doesn't get damaged).
