[HoE] another two newbie questions (probable spoilers)

What abominations from the Weird West are still around in HoE?  I've been able to gather so far that Tummy Twisters are still around (good luck finding that hot sauce!), as are Rattlers, but what about things like Los Diablos and Jackalopes?  Maze Dragons?  Devil Bats?  Have those that are still around changed at all, or are they still the same?  Also, just how much do people know about abominations now that there aren't any people like Rangers and Pinks/Agents to keep them from knowing the truth?
