[HoE] Fear and Loathing

<Okay, to explain my earlier email,
there is a movie called "fear and loathing in las vegas".based on
a book it's the true story of Hunter S Thompson's travel to Las Vegas
in 196
8 to find the "true american dream"...the actual line from the book is
"all of a
sudden there was a terrible roar, the sky was filled with horrible bat
like
creatures, and a voice was screaming "holy jesus what are these god
d@!&*
animals?"" so as my players passed that one part in the adventure one
sought
fit to scream that phrase. just thought those who might have seen the
movie
  would get the reference.>

Actually, it was 'this foul year of Our Lord, 1971," as Mr. Raoul Duke
puts it himself.
And, since you pointed out that it was the _actual_ line from the book,
it's really:
And suddenly, there was a terrible roar all around the car, and the sky
was filled with what looked like huge bats, all swooping and screeching
around the car, which was going about a hundred miles an hour with the
top down toward Las Vegas. And a voice was screaming, "Holy Jesus! What
are these goddamn animals?"

And, when comes the day that the Lost Vegas setting comes out, I
desperately hope this book will have been used as reference material...
