Re: [HoE] Music for the wasted west

My own double clink of the coins reads:

"What Lurks on Channel X?" off of Rob Zombie's Hellbilly Deluxe.
-Scratchy, erratic, dissonant. Best cuz' of the lack of vocals (which
doesn't distract from the game). I've used this in conjunction w/ a few other
songs on loop when I torture my posse's Syker with memories of the war on
Banshee.

The first track (memory confounds me!) off of The Kronos Quartet's Black
Angels album. Great for moments when a particularly nasty fear monger makes
his entrance.

"Who was in my room last night?" by the Butthole Surfers off of their
independent worm saloon album. Why? Fast ministyesque guitars and throaty
screaming. Simply put: Combat Music.

"At the heart of it All" by Nine Inch Nails on the Further Down the Spiral
remix album. No lyrics moody track that evokes visions of dark desert vistas
and distant ruins. I used to use it heavily in my Dark Sun campaigns that I
ported it into my Hell on Earth sessions successfully.

The entire double album Brap by Skinny Puppy.

Clink Clink. I'm done.
