Re: [HoE] Meta-Plot Adventures
Dang your foul hide Nick. This was going to be my suggestion.
Anyway, that being said, I have to agree with this one! If you outline the major plot points, and turn them into a checklist of sorts, you can get a concensus of what all the posses had accomplished. Furthermore, there is not gobs of reading since you are just looking at the checklist.
Once the results are determined by this "voting" method, you can then look at the stories on the back. If you like you can draw at random from the "concensus" pool of stories - OTOH, If the results are small enough (unlikely since you are going w/ a majority, but you never know) you can pick the best.
That couple with a good disclaimer like "the ramdomly picked prize must be determined to meet a certain standard of good taste, logic, standard recognized game rules, fair play, and spelling. This decision rests solely in the hands of the Pinnacle staff, etc, etc.
Or better still - no one has to know you discarded the one where the posse did the equivalent of:
1)spanking Mystra until she begged for mercy
2)diablorizing Cain and then had him go on national TV proclaiming Vamps to be real by sucking the Prez dry
3)Putting Cthullu in a headlock just to show them who's boss
4)Giving thier Obvious accessable Focus a 20d6 Damage shield to which they are immune.
5)I could go on, BUT
You get the point..........
