[HoE] Almanac locations.

Good point about the locations. Sorry about that. Clarifications to follow:

Hobbs, New Mexico: Lower southeastern portion of the state, approx. thirty
miles from the entrance to Carlsbad Caverns.

Pueblo Flats: This is one of those hokey old "themed" rest stops that line
I-10 in the southwest. Picture a grade Z western movie set with the budget
of a ten year old's allowance and you're right on it. The source of
inspiration is located between Las Cruces and Deming New Mexico in the south
central section of the state.

Sedona is located about two hours north of Phoenix, Arizona in the Hills and
Canyon section of the state. Glenwood and Mogollon are both in the forested
sections of the middle western section of New Mexico while Lordsburg is in
the southwestern desert section. Near Tucson was mentioned in one of the HOE
books and Tucson itself is in the far south eastern corner of Arizona.

Apache Junction exists as the trailer park and retirement home capital of
Phoenix. It resides on the most western section of the Phoenix Metroplex.

And to cover the most recent Almanac:

Yuma is the most western city in Arizona just on the California border in
the lower corner of the state.

Flagstaff is a middle sized town in Northern Arizona among the genuine
honest to God trees and forests that most people refuse to believe exists in
Arizona. It actually gets snow most years, but that's a scurrilous falsehood
to any visitor anyway.

Casa Grande is a (very) small town between Phoenix and Tucson in Arizona. It
was named after the decayed Indian ruins discovered by the Spanish
missionaries in the late 1600's. Other than being the former spring training
center for the Giants baseball team, there is nothing of any interest or
relevance that exists there. Literal Translation of the name: Big House.
Clever, eh? Guess even missionaries had slow days too.

If your interested in others, Yahoo has a pretty good Map portion to their
site. You can do searches by Town and state alone and it will give you a
good idea of where towns relate to each other. Hope this helps. Mike C
