Urban Renewal (from what I remember from Iron Oasis) is about the fight
against a Junker (who is also hoarding ghost rock from the mines), who is
trying to establish a Junker-run government in Junkyard with help from a
mercenary army that he has been sneaking in.
It also will reveal what happened to the Librarian who wrote Iron Oasis
(y'know, the former football player). I imagine he was captured by the
mercs, although if he's alive or dead, I couldn't tell ya.
How's that?

Personally, I like Hell or High Water (which I just finally was able to
fine two weeks ago), and I plan on running it to my PC's. It works out
perfectly, because one of my players is a Syker (named Clyde "Bear" Brown)
who was born in Shreveport, Louisiana, went to Banshee, and hasn't been back
to Louisiana since he landed back on earth 13 years ago. The thing is, he
really wants to find out what happened to his family, or if any of them are
still alive. I plan on having him get a little flash of the future (he's a
Syker with Night Terrors! He gets flashes of the future all the time!), and
how this reptilian looking guy (The leader of the scavs on the riverboat, Big
Al, I think he was called) will end up killing his brother, if Bear doesn't
stop him. Now, the thing that that really jumped out at me as I was reading
the adventure was that the villian was named Big Al.
Well, one of Bear's brothers was named Alan.
Oh yeah, baby.
Bear gets to drag his buddies along to Louisiana to save his brother, he'll
get in that first fight with them, there will be a cry of "Clyde!" from the
riverboat just a second before the cannon explodes, so Bear will have reason
to believe that possibly his brother is on the boat, while he and the posse
hightail it into the town where he will be stunned to find that the owner of
the tavern is his older sister who always treated him and his younger
siblings very poorly (Hey, the player came up with this, not me).
As things go on in the adventure, he'll either decide to aid the town (and
with it, his hated sister) because he is a good person at heart, or let them
die. Probably not gonna happen. In the end, though... It would be
especially poigniant if Bear killed Big Al before realizing that it was his
own mutated brother...
So, I've definitely got a reason for the players to go to Louisiana...
