Given these, is there ever a case when you can only try to heal something
once? Maybe it's the ailin' hinderance that you can only try to heal once?

So the rules are:
You can use medicine to try and heal a wound within the "golden hour",
that will lower the wound be ONE level. Then it's every 5 days (or 3 if
you're hardy).
But healer types (Doomsayers, Templars, Toxic Shamans, Sykers, etc.) can
try to heal you/themselves (just themselves for Sykers) as much and as
often (once every 24 hours for Templars) as they like?
Right?
