I was actually thinking of using a road train as scout and single run trucks 
for the convoy.

Never thought about multiple engines thats a great idea!!

Well, I don't know if they'd use something like this, being as they fix
roads and whatnot (as detailed in Road Warriors), but the Convoy might get a
little pissed off at you, and buddy, you do NOT want the Convoy pissed off
at you.
