Actually, most of the time shipping them by train or lowboy is 1) for
increased speed (after all sppeds of 40-50 by the tanks or speeds of 60+ the
other way)
2) to protect the roads (the locals always seem to get upset when you stop
fast on a hot day and wrinkle the asphault, or decided to pivot steer and rip
large chunks of pavement up...dont know why,,,LOL)
3)tanks are fuel hogs!
