Heh. It might attract the older players of Star Wars if it weren't Episode I
based. That pretty much blew it for me, right there. Although I understand
they'll publish a few things for the good series, and certainly use lots of
images to sell product.

And with that, my discussion of WotC is pretty much over. I'd much rather
read a discussion of Urban Renewal (now that's it finally actually out!)
than more stuff on why people don't want a d20 book.
Personally, I say try it. Why not? In all likelihood it'll pay for itself
the same that any adventure does, and have a good chance at turning a good
profit (for an adventure). I just wouldn't make it a habit of using a system
other than Deadlands' own. It's f'n brilliant, and is the reason I initially
wanted to run a game (plus, it's a Western Horror - my two favorite genres
in one!). To be honest, I sell Deadlands to people mostly because they think
the *system* is clever. Contrary to what WotC might think, systems /do/ sell
games.
