    I ran an adventure -loosely- based around the idea of Christine and the
short story Trucks.  (The one the movie Maximum Overdrive was based on). It was
a possessed armored transport though.   It was a blast.  Blasted posse members
over there.. and there.. and little pieces right there. :)
    Kings mood is a good one to shoot for in a lot of HoE games. The normal
everyday stuff that goes wrong. And he did write the Stand after all.   Not
much more appropriate HoE than that.
    Although an Alternative to the Stand is a book by Robert McCammond called
Swan Song.  This one ends the world with the big boom but has a very HoE feel.
Its has a great "Fight the escaped Asylum Loons at the K-Mart" scene and more.
Long one though, like the Stand but closer to the grim HoE feel.
