ummm I think europe has a 9 mm Sabot round.  I could be wrong, and i'm a bit
fuzzy on the detalis, but if memory serves, it was intended to be a service
round to defeat flack jackets.  or something like that.  Very fuzzy.
anyway, it was made to be fired from standard 9 mm pistoles, and I assume
SMG's.
