Oh, I forgot:

There were two air force bases in the Sacramento area, Mather and
McClellan AFB. They are both closed now, but given the whole NA/SA thing
they might have been kept open or reopened. Mather wasn't quite as big
as McClellan but it had a really nice museum on the history of flight, I
think. McClellan was where a squadron of SR-71's were sationed in the
80's, but they were decommissioned. Still, there were also a lot of
B-52s out there and possibly some nukes? 

Back in the downtown area (I forget exactly where), there's the Ford
Museum, where you can see a lot of antique cars. I'd never known what a
flathead was, for instance, until I went there.
