[For my posse: Pete, Andy, DJ, Matt, Bav... If any of you guys are reading
this you forefit your rights to the pizza/beers.]

OKay, the idea for the servitor of famine just totally clicked with me as
the food motif seems to be running through the game (the town's low on
supplies, the posse have been sent to get some).
[of course, when they get to the cattle ranch they're gonna find the cattle
stampeded and the ranch hands gutted and hung up in the basement
freezers... Perhaps with a meal set out on the tables before they find the
basement... (Cognition check, target of 5 to realise... "Hey... This is a
cattle ranch... Why does this taste like... chicken?" (or is it pork that
humans taste like. I can never remember) ]

Unfortunately, knowing my players, if the muties turned into faminites, the
doomie would be so overcome with remorse he'd kill them then probably start
powering up Ground Zero. *shrug* I think the plague might have to be a
random factor. Just to scare the hell out of them when they find the next
one that just happens to have it... "Oh god... What's happened to the
muties???"

The servitor I'm thinking may have been some kind of mean-spirited food
hoarder who got locked in his own crate and the food liberated by
townsfolk. Think that and a healthy desire for very wide-reaching revenge
would be enough to attract the big F?

But regardless of who he was, how would you put someone like that down for
good? Any suggestions? By a piece of his crates? By locking him in a crate
again? *blinks* Okay, I'm tired, I just got a little voice in my head
saying "By pelting him with baked bean cans from the crates?"
