Re: [HOE] device problems

ok here's some ideas from your description.
if he want to clone an item with a spirit he has to use sensor with a
spiritual viewer of at least 3d6, the spirit trap power this gets the spirit
that remains within the remnants of the item.
the slot size of the items created mass x2 will be the Drain (E=mc^2) pretty
expensive
the TN will be somewhere in the region of 7/9 + the frame size + the maximum
size of cloned item
slot cost is 15% for an external cloning plate or 35% for an internal
each spirit that he captures takes up a full data slug, info storage is
provided by the brains power
E.g. he wants to make a microwave that makes its own meals Frame uses temp
to make the oven and Cloner to make the meat
frame size 3 slots 31
temp base 1.6 (wants to be able to cook chickens) Nuke +100% = 3.2
Replicator power internal plate =35% = 10.85
Brains 1d4 =1 two slug ports = 4
total slots used by power = 19.05
Cooking space = 8 slots +2 for a door mechanism = 10 slots
Total so far = 29.05 slots
one power jack port = 2 slots
=31.05
one minor flaw: when cooking everyone in 3 yards must make a tn5 vigour
check or lose 1d4 wind (dry heaves as you watch something get constructed
and cooked from the inside out)
Drain = 3.2 + 32 + 1 = 37 drain per chicken

gosh that's a big response must go lie down now head hurts
AS always ideas and criticisms are gratefully received
