Nope.  Ch'i is its own Spirit-based Aptitude.  I think the way it used to
work was that while the manitou was in control it could use the powers, but
it couldn't regain Ch'i (I suppose Strain now).  This reflects the MA's
spiritual connection to the Hunting Grounds.
