[HOE] Need Character Creation Tips

Hello all,

I am new to this list so I'd like to greet all of you. I have a question
do you guys have any character creation tips for a gunslinger/huckster in
the wasted west? Also since I have seen the new D20 system books I have
heard some disturbing rumors regarding the production of the books under
the old Deadlands system ceasing...Is this true? Also what is the size of
this lists membership?
