I think wires might be getting crossed here.  You can inflict more the 5 
wounds to someone. you can take 50 wounds to youer guts, but for healing and 
such you are still just considered Maimed.  Now if you take 50 wounds you 
probably cut into hamburger at teh waste...but if your harrowed and can find 
most of the pieces yo0u can be put back together.  And you would just need a
