Re: [HOE] Slow Burn question...

Know what a shaped-charge warhead does?

Slow Burn is a pyrokinetic shaped charge. It's like a Brain Blast times
ten.

Slow Burn doesn't really "explode" things like, say, Arson. It's actually
very precise. If you take a look at the adventure in the back of the
Brainburners book, it mentions that a Slow Burn used against a Combine
Raptor basically burned a clean hole through the brain housing. The power
itself actually gives a pretty good description of it; first the syker
"probes" the target with a visible current of sykic energy, then once the
complete toughness of the target has been determined, *VWOOSH*...big bolt of
superheated energy. I guess you could rule that only weak blasts (3d10 and
down) do the "clean" burns while the bigger ones actually cause explosions
when they hit.
