Okay, had a question for some of you HoE vets.  I have a set of adventures
in mind that I wish to use with my current players that will get them to HoE
from DL.  Simply put, use the Devil's Tower trilogy, but encourage them to
go through.  Now then, on the other side, I recall Jackie saying she had a
group of eggheads who supposed knew how to neutralize the evilness of the
Heart of Darkness.  So guess what I intend this set of adventures to revolve
around?

But, before I get too involved in writing this up, I first wanted to know if
there was an adventure, or set of adventures that specifically deal with
this idea.  Did Pinnacle write up something in HoE & I haven't seen it yet,
or did someone else in MatrixWorld write it up & post it?

Second, (assuming the above is answered "No.") is there any reference as to
how the Heart of Darkness was neutralized?  This I would think is a Shane
question.  I need to reread the DT trilogy, but I think Jackie makes some
statement as to the eggheads of her time had an idea on how to render it
harmless.  My thinking is Sitgreaves created a hex that renders ghost rock
inert (if I recall), so the eggheads have a means of using a version of that
hex on the Heart & that will make it inert.  Does this sound plausible,  or
does someone at Pinnacle have a better solution?  Just didn't want to write
all of this up, then find out that Pinnacle has a sneaky surprise in one of
the books that requires the "rock"--would kind of like having the posse kill
Stone, then find out, 'oh, Pinnacle wants him to be a reoccurring theme....'
