RE: [HOE] Game CD Audio Extractor?
A lot of older games, Quake and earlier or so, simply used CD Audio
tracks on the disc to play music in the game. Now most games use MP3 or
a similar digital format. On those older games, if you put the CD in
and use your favorite MP3 ripping software (I use musicmatch), you can
get MP3s of the audio tracks. For that matter, you can just throw the
CD into any CD player and play it. Track 1 will be garbage noise, so
skip it, and the rest should play fine. This is, of course, assuming
the music was done this way for the game.

Subject: [HOE] Game CD Audio Extractor?
I remember, somewhere in the mists of the past, someone said something
about a program that could extract audio tracks from game CDs. Anyone
know what that is? I was playing Return to Castle Wolfenstein, and
thought it would make for some kickin' game music...
