To be fair though, the story does show the party about to have a fatal meeting with Death. At which point the Hellstromme-ship sucks him up like a Dustbuster handles Gramma's cremated remains. The fact that Death's minion seem rather upset at this turn of events gives credence to Hellstromme's claims. As does his earlier appearence with the mutants (where he saves all the humans, including the posse from becoming mutie-kibbles).
