It really depends on the Style of Anime.  You kinda got that Tenchi style 
going with the character,  which is kinda lite for the most peoples game 
style.

But at least you have some sort of Artistic talent.  If I had to draw my PCs 
and NPCs, I would have to figure out how to draw a dark gritty stick figure.

I usually just steal someone elses art and modify it using Photoshop.  Or I 
make the players go out and get pictures.
