Flamers tend to get doused in ghost-rock dust and used
for targets practice by pyrokinetics here. As long as
you follow the simple rule of "Don't post anything you
wouldn't say out loud to somebody who's within
punching distance of your face", you should be fine.

You could apply the "long years/difficult study"
argument to Hucksters and Martial Artists as well. I
understand the argument has some merit, however, I
believe that seperating the Blastin skill ala'
Hexslingin' allows for a more balanced and realistic
approach.

I think that we're heading in opposite directions.
I'm wanting to allow for more specialization, while
you're wanting more generalization. My method doesn't
stop you from playing a Sykokinetic character, after
all. Just give your Syko Syker a high Spirit. If
somebody else wants to play a Mind Freak, they can
have a high Smarts. Hell, with my way of doing it,
you could have a whole Posse of Sykers acting as a
unit, each with a differing Mode specialization.

Look at the skill levels again. 1 means you're a
beginner (like a greenie should be). 2 is for an
amateur. 3 means you can make a good living. 4 means
that you're a consumate profession. 5 means that
you're an Expert who's devoted most of his life to
this one thing. 6 and above is reserved for the
absolute best in the world.
