[HOE] d20 Massive Damage Rule



From the SRD: 

"Massive Damage

If a character ever sustains damage so massive that 50 points of damage 
or more are inflicted in one deduction, and the character isn't killed 
outright, the character must make a Fortitude save (DC 15). If this 
saving throw fails, the character dies regardless of current hit 
points."

One variant I've seen implemented in d20 Call of Cthulhu that I've seen 
people porting over to Weird Wars and Deadlands is to reduce the 
massive damage threshold to 10, making the game MUCH more deadly, 
regardless of how many hit points you have.
