Without that tag, there's a very good chance that Shane will overlook any
e-mail sent to the list (he's a busy man).  So, yeah, if you want to be
sure that he'll read it, put his name in the subject.
Likewise, if you're replying to something with that tag, and your reply
isn't directly to Shane's attention, it's a good idea to delete his name
from the subject line.
