That of course is the big question.  I actually didn't invest in the first 
edition,  but my buddy is starting a campaign and he decided to use the new 
rules,  so I picked up the book.

The thing that sucks is that they added some people from episode 2, but they 
cut a few out.  Like Darth Maul and Qui Gon Jin.  Personally I would have 
cut some the expanded universe stuff, instead of actually lucas characters
