[HOE] Pit fighting in Junkyard

Ok, so one my players has decided to try and earn some extra cash in a
Pitfight. I explained the "rules" to him and he decided to go for it. I
paired him off against a scrapper named Slaughterhouse Sally who uses a
whip and axe.

He's an enlightened martial artist, but didn't reveal the enlightened
part.

I gave him 16:1 odds.

I plan to run the fight like any other with the rest of the posse as
spectators and make Sally a little more showy than normal.

My main question is this: if he gets 2% of the take, how much would the
take be? My guess was that maybe 1000 people show up for the fight and
they average a $20 bet between them. But that means his take (assuming he
wins) will only be $400. That seems kinda low. Then again, he bet $150 on
himself, so that'll net him (again, if he wins) $2400 which is a pretty
good wad.

Any suggestions on things I'm missing or should add?
